Stripes affairs and budget

Yesterday, I went thrifting at the usual flea market. On my mind was the balance of Jan's thrifting budget, which was RM15, to spend. I stopped by at the usual vintage stall and to my surprise, there was an offer of RM20 for two pieces of dresses. Shriek... then tried to calm myself down and focus on checking out the dresses. Selected five pieces to try but in the end only these two dresses stood out from the rest. The second dress needs a bit of alteration, which is good because it can keep me busy from visiting flea markets.

With just the amount of RM50 to spend each month, this does not give me clearer direction or view in terms of items to purchase. I thought of a bigger picture by segregating the lump amount of RM600 (RM50 X 12 months) into different categories of clothes, shoes, bags and accessories (brooch, belt, etc) . As for the timeline, I think there is a need to be flexible with it and also to take consideration of the amount to spend. The 'right' vintage items will show up unexpectedly. I put 'right' is to refer the ones to my likings. On top of this budget, I have set gifts (for myself) budget as well - Valentine's day, birthday's and Christmas' gifts budget :-)

Commencing today, I will (try to) post on daily basis except on Sunday. So stayed tune and have a good week ahead!
