vintage lingerie

I have been wondering how far I would go for vintage, which mean would I try other items, for example, lingerie. Just recently, my mind has been toying with the idea of vintage lingerie. Thus, I have been checking out lingerie section on etsy, which I rarely do. And strangely, I am kind of into it now. Here are some pretty pieces that I came across on etsy.

Purchasing vintage lingerie as per se might be a little jump for me as lingerie is intimate pieces. Maybe I can purchase vintage lingerie patterns and sew them myself. But I have started off with a nightgown which I recently bought from a flea market.

What do you think? I reckon this nightgown is from the 1970s. Perhaps anyone could assist me to date this nightgown?

  2. Yes i think its from the 70's. Kak! i got my pegnoir set from kamdar was a steal! deadstock unit i think. grabbed it in a flash. It almost look like picture number 2, but abit peachy and too long for me.. So cute with frills and lace. As for the first picture, you can try looking at asos. I bought one set from Asos revive section. The sizes are bigger than malaysian standard, so you might want to watch out for that. Bought mine in size M and the panties part looked like XXL, legit lol.. As for the slips try looking at RM15 stall at giant or tesco :) They usually have a row just for lingerie. Some with tags! Hope that helps :)
