It would be a perfect photo if I was not in a hurry to dash and it was not breezy at that moment. If only I could spare a minute or two to adjust my hair accordingly and snap again. Then I would have a perfect photo for this entry. Sigh. The look:Vintage embroidery blouse from the Vintage VibesMini skirtVintage bagSlim beltDigital watchBrogues

Last weekend, a charity yard sale was held at the Apartment, the Curve. Items sold were children or baby items, shoes, bags, accessories, clothes, books, CDs and also T.G.I. Friday's memorabilia.A pair of Jean Paul Gaultier's shoes (pre-loved item, of course) was sold at RM30. Too bad the shoes were not in my size. Otherwise, the shoes would have found a new home. Another item that caught my eye was the horse rocker (last photo). It was so cute. My friend was very lucky to purchase it at RM20 (needed minor restoration though). If you have missed this yard sale, do look out for update in the Apartment's site for such event. They might organize another charity yard sale. Keep your fingers crossed. Note: Apologies for the poor quality of the photos. These were taken using mobile phone camera.

Just another normal Saturday but I was too excited to flaunt my new addition for my wardrobe, which I've got from Donate & Buy Shop on my recent thrift therapy. I am proud to present my red BF blazer. The look:Striped tube top Black cuffed shorts Thrifted red BF blazerVintage bagBlack broguesHave a good weekend!

Retail therapy is fun but thrift therapy is even more fun. The thrill of finding hidden treasure and also to pay at a small fraction of what it was cost are indescribable. Think of a child in a candy or ice cream store. I came across information on Donate & Buy Shop on the internet whilst searching for thrift or second hand stores in Klang Valley. The shop sells old books, old decorative items and old clothes donated by charitable people.
