exploring vintage hairstyles...

It has been a while since my last visit to hair saloon. My hair has grown longer and I have no idea what to do with my hair; either to have a short hairstyle or to let it grow. Before the move, I have started to do a bit of research on vintage hairstyles and I came across with these:

I am hoping to try one of these hairstyles one of these days. Keeping my fingers crossed!

interesting posts

These are two great posts on vintage bazaar or flea market in the States. I have been following these two lovely bloggers for quite some time now. They have the loveliest vintage clothes, shoes, bags and brooches. Do check out the posts. I just love the photos of the great vintage stuff for sale. How I wish we would have such great vintage stuff as well.

Happy reading and have a great weekend!

with or without

Have you ever been in a situation whereby you have doubts with your decision? Whether it was a small or big matter in life. In my case, I could not decide whether to accessorize with a necklace for my outfit. To some, this maybe a lame thing to be worried about but not for a fashionista though.

The look:
Turtle neck top
Vintage skirt from flea market
Vintage shoes from etsy
Necklace
Thrifted belt

What do you think? Which look do you prefer?

new addition

Whilst I was busy sorting things out and packing, I came across a lovely nice pair of vintage gloves on etsy and without second thought, I purchased it. Yay! I could not believe that I own a pair of vintage gloves. And now, I just can't wait to pair them with lovely vintage frocks...

Have a great week ahead everyone!

colours 1

Partially packed, partially unpacked. I am still trying to figure out where I have packed some of my belongings. Missing tights, missing digital camera... Sigh. Keeping my fingers crossed that I could find them.

settled a little...

Packing, moving and unpacking is quite a stressful process. Packing looks easy, it can be difficult at times as one might be too attached to certain items or things. If it is not emotional attachment, perhaps the thoughts it might be useful one of these days, which makes one tend to keep things.

I came across this idea on how to minimize purchases; one in, one out from a magazine. Perhaps I can apply this idea from now on. It can be hard but from my packing experience, I have a bit too many clothes, shoes, bags, accessories to name a few at this point. Maybe it is time to cut down on purchases...
