step back in time ... for a while

Happy Friday! Got back from a cine concert... A cine concert combines silent movie with musicians playing the soundtrack live in front of the audience. It was a great experience as I have travelled back in time to watch a silent movie in the 1920s. The silent movie shown was Au Bonheur des Dames which is one of the last silent moves made in France. This movie features exceptional technical innovation such as superimposed (at the start of the movie) and a little special effect (towards the end of the movie), which I think these are impressive for a movie in that era.

summer outfits wish list

Unofficially summer is yet to come... but I am counting the days to a great summer! Looking forward to better weather - more sunny days, more outdoor outings and of course outfit posts!

affordable vintage chanel bags do exist...

 

My search for an affordable vintage Chanel bag goes on either in HK or Malaysia. I came across these two bags online a while ago. It is great to know that affordable (below RM3,000) vintage Chanel bags (still in good condition) exist but I guess my timing is not right. Need to grab it fast next time!

marc jacobs diet coke

When I first heard or read about Marc Jacobs becoming Coca-cola's Creative Director for its Diet Coke line in 2013, I was so excited. Although I am not Coca-Cola collector, I could not resist these.... Inspiration of the design is based on the rise of female empowerment through different decades; eighties, nineties and noughties. Can you guess which is which? Or which is your favourite design?

On a different note, I am very grateful and thankful to have a very good colleague who helped me to get these :) How lucky am I!

new additions

These are my latest additions or perhaps I should say one new item for my wardrobe. The golden leaves print dress is so lovely that I could not resist to purchase it! And I was lucky to find it on HK$10 rack.Whilst the white top is for fashion project. Last weekend, I wanted to spend some time on a fashion project but I had to attend something else instead. Hope I have more time to spend on fashion project in these few weeks.
