Happy Wesak Day

Today is Wesak Day and  it is public holiday. Thus, I am not working today, yay!  I must admit that I am not very religious person but today is a special day. I was at a Chinese temple earlier to offer incense and to pray (briefly).

No outfit post for today but stay tuned for my post on KL Vintage Festival 2 and outfit for the day.

Have a good weekend everyone!

During the recent holiday, I took some time to attend to fixing pile of vintage clothes in my cabinet or wardrobe. Although I managed to fix three dresses, I am happy with the outcome. The last piece or mod dress needed extra work that I have expected. Now, these lovely pieces are in 'to-wash' pile. After washing, these will be kept in my almost bursting wardrobe.

Yay! Weekend is here and I am getting excited. I think you can guess what I would be up to. Have a lovely weekend.

a dress over a dress

the look: vintage denim dress, thrifted graphic print dress, vintage belt, bangles, thrifted granny loafers

Today I experimented layering a dress over a dress. The denim dress is worn as jacket instead. I think I should have worn more stylish or trendy shoes instead of my trusted thrifted granny loafers for a bit of 'ummph'. On another note, I am counting the days to the weekend. Another exciting weekend, I hope.

newly acquired

mod dress

sunglasses

Although I need to save up, I just could not resist (how typical of me when thrifting at flea market) to bring this lovely vintage mod like dress (or school uniform?) home. It is very one of a kind dress and I do not have such dress in my wardrobe. As for the red sunglasses, it is a great addition to put together for vintage look. Furthermore, this pair of sunglasses was on sale. Rayban red sunglasses crossed my mind when I saw this pair! Well, at least this pair is within my budget.

Have a good week ahead!
