movie nite: casablanca

movie snack

Oh... so excited to watch Casablanca. I have heard how great this movie is but I did not make any effort to watch until today. I hope I would get inspiration from this movie for v-day outfits.

Hope it is not too late to wish Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy the evening.

Old movie night: An American in Paris

I am totally knackered. Went to the gym after work. I have been feeling lazy to go the gym lately but finally moved my lazy butt to hit the gym just now. So, I am exhausted and lazy to squeeze the creative juice out of my mind to write something tonight. I need to partially shut down myself. Hence, I would be watching 'An American in Paris' tonight.

PS: I envy those who can check out Chic Pop Street Market 7 tomorrow. Hope you would have fun there! Have a great weekend!

Old movie night: Les Parapluies de Cherbourg / The Umbrellas of Cherbourg

Phew... so happy it is Friday and weekend is around the corner. I was very busy and swamped at work. Needed to clear all important tasks before going for my break next week. I really need a break. Away from work, away from everything. Few good scopes of ice-cream would be a good treat to start with! Looks yummy... Tonight's movie is a French movie, Les Parapluies de Cherbourg. Something different for a change! Have a wonderful evening/day!

Old movie night: Roman Holiday

I am a fan of Audrey Hepburn. Love her style a lot. Her style is so chic and stylish. I heard about the film, Romany Holiday, I but never make any effort to watch it. Now, with old movie night, this film is on my to-watch list. No chips tonight but chocolate biscuits. Going to enjoy them with some tea. Aah... very relaxing night. Weekend is finally here. Hope you have great plans for the weekend. If none, why not head off to I love Bazaar at Subang Parade and pay a visit to Thr5t stall!

Enjoy the evening!

Old movie night: Flashdance

Source: Scanned from the VCD cover

..with my favourite junk food - chips..

Went to the video store to rent either Bonnie and Clyde or Flashdance. I was hoping to watch Bonnie and Clyde tonight but unfortunately the store does not have it. When I asked the store assistant for Bonnie and Clyde, she gave me a puzzled look. Yeah, I know it is an old or classic movie and perhaps she thinks that I am from another planet - auntie planet??

Synopsis at the back of the VCD's blurb:

The visual and musical box-office smash Flashdance is the exhilarating story of Alex Owens (Jennifer Beals), a fiercely determined and beautiful 18-year-old woman, who works as a welder by day and a dance at a local bar at night. The film sparkles with the music of the 80's including the No. 1 hit song sung by Irene Cara "Flashdance - What a Feeling" and "Maniac" sung by Michael Sembello. We follow Alex's struggle to gain independence, find love and realize her dream - to dance at the Pittsburgh Conservatory of Dance.

Perhaps this movie will inspire me for my outfit tomorrow or to continue to pursue my dream in fashion??
